Lost my tag with the code for the keyless entry, do I have to go to the dealer to get the code?

Isn't the code in the glove box?

You do not have to go to the dealer. You need both keys. I can't remember the exact procedure but it goes something like turn vehicle on, but not start then turn off and do the same with the second key and then the code will appear on the dash, for a short period of time, The exact procedure should be in the owners manual.

I found it in the HTML version under "
Keyless Entry Keypad - Keyless Entry Keypad Master Access Code

There are other places on the truck where the code is located.
One location is on the BCM which is located in the front of the passenger footwell underneath the plastic panel and there's a sticker my finger is pointing on it the first five digits is your code
It is too late tonight, but tomorrow morning, I'll take a picture for you.
As promised her the pictures, plus a video.

👇 Here's the panel you must remove

My finger is resting directly on top of where the code is.👇👇

It's right on your BCM underneath the passenger side footwell plastic cover. They even labeled it keyless key code.

There's seven numbers but it'll be the first five.

Using the two keys worked. Now I just have to remember it. I pasted it just below my monitor so maybe that will help. Thanks everyone for assisting an old Marine.

You can also program your own easier-to-remember code. I’ve got the factory code (as everyone else), my code & my wife’s code programmed.

How do you program your own code.

Here you go, good luck!
  1. On the keypad, enter the 5-digit, factory-set code that came with your vehicle. (You can find this code printed on the owner’s wallet card in the glove compartment.)
  2. Within five seconds, press the 1-2 button on the keypad.
  3. Enter your desired, new 5-digit code. (You must enter the numbers within five seconds of each other.)
  4. Press the 1-2 button on the keypad to save your new personal code.
  5. The doors will then lock and unlock to confirm that you’ve successfully programmed your new code.
