So Ford has two keypads for sale. One is with factory remote start and one without factory remote start. Since the Maverick has FordPass remote start and not key fob remote start. Not sure which one to order.

Just remember not to do that on a hybrid Maverick, it has an inside fuel door release button.I saw a picture somewhere of someone mounting the keypad on the inside of the fuel door
Hey, that’s a great idea! It’s just held on with double sided tape, so you can mount it anywhere. Inside the cubby would be a good idea, if you rarely use it.keypad…bed (or maybe even in the cubby).

Why couldn't we all get that fuel release button? Where is it located, dash? floor?Just remember not to do that on a hybrid Maverick, it has an inside fuel door release button.
The hybrid has it because it pressurizes the fuel tank for extra efficiency and needs time to vent before opening the door. Why couldn't we all get that fuel release button? Where is it located, dash? floor?
I have a locked gas cap on my Mazda and I like it.

Synch with key fob and stick on the door with double sided tape. Pretty easy. No dealer required.Could you share details on the installation? activation?
Did it require dealer intervention (using Fordscan) to make it work?
