This is a factory installed hard roll-up bed cover.
I expect it would seal, but I get rain and snow in the bed.
Does anyone else have this cover, and does this look right or wrong to you?

I don't have this specific cover, but generally speaking you want the tonneau and the seals to extend back to where they're overlapping and sealing with the top of the tailgate.

Appears to be installed to far towards cab. I have different one installed on mine does not leak but there is only about 1/2-5/8" overlap onto cab and tailgate.

If factory installed, I would take it to the dealer. Hopefully enough wiggle room to eliminate or improve.

I have the same cover and same issues. Went on line, and checked out the cure for this, and it works very well. Amazon had a 3M gasket and videos on how to apply. No dust and only minimal water issues after installation. Check it out.

Thanks for the heads up.
Can you give me more of a description?
There are tons of gaskets, even looking at truck bed gaskets.

I have 24Lariat with factory installed cover. I also have a slight opening at rear end. Mine appears to be adjustable inside the bed at the front end. I intend to see if it can be moved back a 1/2 inch and still remain sealed up front. My salesman pointed it out that it may be too far forward. I had appointment with dealer but had to cancel. Will have to reschedule.

That is the consensus. It's so weird that Ford can't make a cover that fits. I'll try to figure something out.
Thanks

We would think that Ford engineers could get measurements correct.

It is just like the rear axle Not being in the center of the wheelwell.

I had my son climb in the bed and loosen the bolts. I adjusted to back to the tailgate and held it in place while he tightened everything back up. It will never be completely waterproof, so I do get a few drops in there.

I have a Leer on mine that overhangs the tailgate a bit more and looks like it seals to the sides of the bed differently too. It does not leak.

I have the same factory installed hard roll-up bed cover and it looks exactly the same. There's apparently no way to have an entirely water-proof cover for the Maverick without the use of weatherstripping. It hasn't been an issue for me though because any water that does enter seems to drain immediately near the leak points.
