I live in western Kentucky and the first time I got direct sun on my windshield I noticed the same pitting. I've wondered if it came from the train trip as well. It's good to know that I'm not the only one.
I have the same factory installed hard roll-up bed cover and it looks exactly the same. There's apparently no way to have an entirely water-proof cover for the Maverick without the use of weatherstripping. It hasn't been an issue for me though because any water that does enter seems to drain...
I've gotten a message on my phone lately when it was very cold out that my "remote features had been disabled to preserve my battery". Doesn't make much sense, since the very cold is when you would need the remote start the most. As far a I'm aware my truck battery is fine.

I must be the only Maverick owner that still has my hearing, but yes, the blinker sound is much louder (and annoying) than any other vehicle I've driven. It is not a deal breaker though; love my Maverick!

Nice decals. Making suggestions as a graphic designer: I would recommend that you cut back on some of the decals. Too many can go easily from cool to tacky. Lose the door decals, and only use one of the tank decals (keep the right one). I think all the decals would look better in black, but...
