Mine aren't warm, that's too bad. Guess I'm calling the dealership tomorrow
It's got to be under 45 or so - The light on the HVAC cluster should be on and u need the LUX Package. If all these r in place - mirrors and wiper park will be warmish to touch. Although the mirrors get to like 150 -)

There is juice to these spots ALL THE TIME?!?!?!? Sounds like a great way to drain the battery. How do you unhook the?

The inverter is only on when the key is in the ACC position.

The hybrid will turn the motor on as needed to recharge the battery when using the inverter.

Not the inverter, the wiper and rearview mirrors heater. Can that be turned off?

I just checked my inverter and it doesn't work either. Was anyone able to fix this themselves or do I have to take it into the dealer?

I'd just take it in. Not worth damaging something when you have a new vehicle warranty.

Also, if Ford starts getting massive reports of stuff not getting plugged in, maybe they'll actually do some QC at the factory and stuff like this and the trailer lights recall would get fixed before the customer gets their vehicle

Both of my outlets work ok, but I don't dare use them with this power drain putting me in deep sleep mode.

Hi there. This inverter concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Maverick. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end.

I’m so glad I checked the forums before taking my truck to the dealer. I never bothered to check the inverters since my led box light wld turn on. But both inverters were not operating. There was a junction behind the led box sandwiched between the fender and wheel well that wasn’t connected to the led box inverter wiring. Now it works; there is a little led light near the inverter indicating there’s power. Saved me from being without the truck for a day or more.
THANK YOU!

This is exactly what I needed to get mine working.

Bumping this with my own strange experience. There are several other threads about inverter non-function but I picked this one. This is a little long but if maybe the details will help someone.

My truck is a lariat lux, has 400w 120v inverters on rear console and bed from the factory. I've used the rear console recently, but not frequently. I've used the bed inverter once - proved it worked, haven't had a need since.

I was trying to hook up Christmas lights in the bed last night.🏮One string of LED micro bulbs, I'd be shocked if it draws even 0.5A. I have a basic 2-outlet remote switch that I had just tested in the house, but wasn't working when I plugged it in to the bed, so I tried the light string directly. Hmm, dead. Tried inside also, nope. The ignition was on but engine was not running, so I started the engine and no luck. I happened to leave the light string plugged into the rear console for future troubleshooting.

I thought it was very unlikely that the fuse was blown, but I checked anyway. All good. Tried turning on/off the bed light via the cab switch. Yep, that works, no it doesn't affect the bed 120V. I tried everything once more and no luck, so I shut off the truck and it didn't go into deep sleep. (Hasn't in 6 months, at least. Reset BMS to fix that.)

Stumped, I was going to make a service appointment, but this morning I opened my garage and remote started my truck with the fob, because it's 30 degrees. The garage stays warmer, but cool enough that when I get it in the mirrors, seat and steering wheel heaters are on. This is pretty normal.

AND THEN I SEE THE GLOWING XMAS LIGHTS. What. The. Heck? I didn't try the bed inverter but I bet it was alive also. Can anyone explain this, or should I consult an exorcist?
