Allstate profited about $44 per policy in 2025.
ETA if the CEO decided tomorrow to work for free, the company would save about 12 cents per policy.


This was a older posting I was commenting on, that Allstate's CEO makes 26 million, for some reason it didn't make it to the page.

I own the vehicle, no financing but why would you drop the under insured?

Did this mean un insured coverage? The problem with this coverage is the vehicle that hits you has to be identified, so if hit and run there would be no coverage.

The best of luck--they are all out for stuffing their wallets and government just supports them all the way.
Used to be high at $300 per year and now it is ten times that much.

Underinsured means the at fault driver has a lower coverage limit than the damage he causes. Like hits five $60k vehicles and has $100k (or less) coverage!!!
ETA: your underinsured coverage pays balance after at fault drivers pay it's limit!!.

I am picking up my 26 Maverick Lariat hybrid today. Allstate gives me 14 days to insure this, the price will go up over $100 a month while going down in coverage. Here is what the proposal is

Moving collision from $500 to $1k
Moving comprehensive from $0 to $250
Dropping uninsured motorist from $250/500k to $100/300k or $50/100K

all of this comes out to $374 a month

Anyone using other companies that might be less?

Funny that an article rate Maverick as one of the cheapest trucks to insure???
Mine is high w Allstate and I will need to shop and/or raise deductibles, etc.
