Installing Dimming mirror - lost my darn mirror mount screw

So, installing my dimming mirror with the harness off ebay from Mike who's username here escapes me. Put my screw in the storage area behind the screen. Aaaaand it disappeared. I suspect that either the Magsafe mount magnet or the magnet on the light I forgot about and was using picked it up and then I knocked it off some place. Only way I can see it disappearing.

Anyways, does anyone know what size the screw is that is in there. I'm trying to nail it down searching online but am having difficulty.

Thanks, luckily it's pretty stable in there right now until I find the screw. I guess I can go to a junk yard and see if I can get one.

Probably your best bet cuz the dealer would probably want something like $15 for a silly $0.09 screw.

If you knew the size I bet you could get one at Ace Hardware, they typically have stuff like that.

Did you happen to notice if the screw had a point? The one I had on my Chevy Volt, had a point that fit into a little divot on the metal mounting plate that was cemented to the windshield.

On a Kia KA7062ADUP1 dimming rearview mirror it has a 10-24 x 3/8" pointed tip torx screw.
Checked a 10-24 to see if it fit, it did.
The screw it came with feels a bit tighter the further it goes in than the regular 10-24.

Looks similar to GM's 19207911 10-24 x 3/8 Inside Rearview Mirror Bolt.

Any local hardware store or ACE should have a making one just bring it with you so they can match the tread and size
