I am curious if anybody has encountered this situation when installing the auto stop eliminator. The instructions say to just unhook the harness coming off of the obd2 port and put the autostop inline of that harness.
On mine the harness runs directly into the smart data link module. There is no connection in between the obd port and module. So I contacted autostop and they said I must have an aftermarket accessory installed so they dont know. Which I do not.
I attached a pic of the obd connector and harness going into the module. I can't tell if there is a harness connection above the module or not. I was just hoping somebody has been through it already and figured it out.

I will get the truck in the shop, with the heat on,this am and get a better picture.the ends are up a little in a bunch of other wires.the one from the input side is reallyl a pain the see.i believe i had to seperate some of the different wire harness to actually find each end that went in the autostop eleminator.once i found it it wasnt a problem . two wire connections that match the ends in the wire that comes out of the eliminator will only plug into the wire from the obd ,diagnostic port and the other end has a wire underneath that it’s plugged into that end.
Sounds confusing but its simple when it all gets together.
I have since figured out that is an installed lo jack device that nobody bothered to tell me about. I still have not found the original obd2 plug in. But I really appreciate your willingness to take pics and help.
