Since TRL Auto doesn't have the Start/Stop Eliminator yet for the '25, I ordered from eBay. Super straightforward install and will keep me from going insane.

Did you install on a 2025?
Was the connection on the passenger side of truck in center counsel?
Did you have to deal with a security screw?
In this video from 4Dtech, the person said that there is a 7mm bolt head behind.
When I did my install, I had a security screw

that I had to figure out how to remove. Had to remove the module and use needle nose pliers to get the bolt out.

You had to remove a security screw to get to the back of the OBD2 connection under the driver’s dashboard?

Thanks for this. My truck arrives next few weeks, it will be the first thing I put in it.

Do all the Mavs not come with the button on the console to stop this feature? If not I get the need to want the eliminator, and I may be in the minority here but I’ll save my 100 bucks and just hit the button when I get in. To each their own though 👌🏼
You're fortunate to remember to hit that button and not mind. I can never remember to do that so I'm putting in the logic switch.

But it doesn't change anything on the vehicle so how can it void a warranty?
It's just a logic switch. If you worry about that when going to the dealer, just press the button "ON" - it remembers the last setting and will act normally. Then you can hit OFF and it will stay OFF unless you choose to turn it back on.

the autostop eliminator with sync4 in my Bronco was in the lower center stack, under the HVAC controls. it didn't plug in to the OBD2 connector like my Maverick.

so, I wouldn't be surprised if the 25 Maverick is like that also.

This is on my 2025 Maverick XLT.

If I stated driver's side, I was in error. On the Driver's side after taking panel off, and it has a bolt in it, I had to remove a bolt that the held the module up. Once I did that, I could get the module out. Unplug the plug on top is the only way to get module out.
On passenger side of truck after taking off the panel you see this in 3339.jpg.

See the braket to the right of the orange tape? That is were the OBD2 connection is.
In 3341.jpg is shown the back side of the OBD2 connection.

That nut that is spot welded in, has the security screw in it. Even 4Dtech was supprised that the security screw was there.
In 3331.jpg I have started to get the screw out. But to do that, I had to snip off a little bit of the tab that the module is resting on, just to the right of the screw. Take a pair of needle nose pliers and
squeezing hard, the screw twisted out.

Went to hardware & got bolt & washer that fit so that I can put it back together.
EDIT (The size of bolt is m5x0.8 x .75" long and use a flat washer.)
4Dtech was a big help in helping to get this figured out.
Installed the Stop / Start eliminator, put things back together & tested.
Works like it is suppose to.
