I have seen these 4D Tech Auto Start Stop Eliminator on Amazon and the photo shows 3 plugs. These is a video that shows installation but that same item does not have a third plug. Any idea what it is for?

Yea . I have just got in the habit of turning stop/start off each time . 1) back out of garage . 2) close garage door with clicker . 3) buckle seat belts . 4) put on sunglasses . 5 ) start/stop disengage . Started doing this after a couple of months ownership due to battery / sleep warnings . also thought about wear and tear on all the other components that occurred with start/stop . Will leave it up to next owner to delete or use . 3 plus years and just over 10k miles .

Option 1) if you want to permanently disable it, you can disable it via forscan. You can always change the coding back and it will work like it did before.

Option 2) If you want to have it off on start up but have the ability turn it on while driving, go with the auto stop start disabler.

Option 3) The cheapest and easiest way to disable it is to unplug your BMS sensor on your battery but this may cause other warning lights or codes.

All you need for forscan is a windows laptop, an elm327 hs/ms can OBD cable and the software forscan (which you can get a free subscription for)

You all know that the system was designed to be most efficient when the start/stp engages. Please understand that you live in 2025 and engines are designed differently than in 1999.

I have gone to your link and the one on their site is for a Maverick up to but not including the 2025 model Maverick. ( 2022-2024 Ford Autostop Eliminator https://www.autostopeliminator.com/products/2022-ford-maverick-autostop-eliminator )

The link I posted is from Amazon for Autostop Eliminator on the 2025 model of Maverick. That site has both but you have to select the 2025 model

Pretty sure you can do this with Forscan.
For the cost of an OBDII adapter. (Assuming you have a laptop.)
I will be trying it on my 2025 Lobo next time I get my laptop and cable out.
