I had the dreaded a-pillar "squeak/pop" that I never fixed and also my front passenger door speaker would rattle with even moderate volume.

That being said, the Civic I picked up - although the interior materials are softer and of a higher quality - still has a dash rattle over bumps and the black plastic surrounding the window switch in the rear has looks worse than any scratches or wear plastics I had in 9k miles in my Tremor.

I guess I'm saying the Mav ain't the best but many other manufacturers also saddle customers with the same issues.

I have a little tick or faint thumping noise which sounds like it’s coming from above my head close to the sunroof, I only really hear it when the headboard is slid open. Couldn’t tell ya what it is though.

Very minor, very occasional rattle, seems like it comes from the screen bezel or dash cubby. But that's it.
I really want to know what on Earth you were driving before if the Mav seems loud to you. My 24 XLT hybrid is sooo much quieter than my other cars - 2010 CRV and 2006 Mazda6 i.

Yeah! it would be a dream of a truck if it wasnt for that... im very close to taking it apart and putting sound deadening tape all over the truck lol.
I’ve been slowly applying Resonix sound deadening tiles after I finally wired a Dashcam and did the bed lights. Now that I got the hang of popping out trim without any issues, it’s doable in bursts. So far, I’ve done sound deadening tiles. To the back wall, under the rear seat bins, and front passenger floorboard. After reading about different products, it seemed. Resonix tested well so their high price was justified. I added their thick FiberMat45 to the passenger floor, and I can tell a difference.

Rattles haven’t been too noticeable for me. I think it’s been road and engine noise that stand out the most, but I will say I noticed the most difference when I put tiles beneath the rear set bins.

I’ve got rattles too. Mostly from the speakers on the dash. The only issue I’ve had the last 15,000 miles.

it’s annoying. Ive tired foam but so for I’ve had no luck. I’ve had 20-40 year old vehicles with less interior fitment issues.

04 VW Jetta wagon, beater car with 200k. no rattles
01 Tacoma with 250k. no interior rattles.
81 Mercedes 300D. No rattles.
89 F150 no rattles.
96 F150 no rattles.
11 F150 no rattles.
A 2nd and 3rd Gen tacoma, no rattles.
Frontier. No rattles.
4Runner. No rattles.
Etc….

whatever. The truck fits my needs perfectly right now

Whenever my mother-in-law gets in my Maverick I hear all sorts of noises. I chalk it up to being old and crusty. The Maverick that is, not my mother-in-law...

We had a pretty pronounced rattle over bumps- mentioned it during recall/ oil change, turns out the strut was causing it.
That is another one! i hear something pop when making tight turns or when goin over a bump or when going on little dips that cause the strut to compress.
Did they end up fixing it?

Hi Andrew, did you use 1/2" or 1"? https://resonixsoundsolutions.com/p...e-sound-absorbing-thermal-insulation-material

What made you chose Resonix over Dynamat, etc?
Thanks!
