Your math is way way off because if you take $33,163 and subtract $11,000 you get $22,163 as the out-the-door price for a Maverick EcoBoost AWD XL with the 4k tow package.

From the August 2021 price list :

XL $19,995
adding AWD $3,305
adding 4K Tow Package $745
Destination and Delivery Charge $1,495

Total is $25,540

Now add in the Florida sales tax of 6% ($1,532.40), the sky high Florida document fee of $995 and other fees of $77 and $248

I did way better on price than the numbers you used. You are right about tax, tag and title costs.

I wish I could have anticipated that I would be able to sell the Mavericks at a profit. I ordered it over a year ago and the other one the year before that. I had no idea it would be worth $11,000 more than I paid for it. I ordered it with the intent of keeping it and driving it till the wheels fall off.

How much would they give you for the Highlander? Maybe you keep the Maverick and sell the Toyota.

If you don't love the Maverick or you need the money, selling makes sense. If you love it and don't need the money, why sell?

2 years from now will you wish you had a Maverick or $11k? That usually helps me figure out what to do now.

Most people (not necessarily you) would piss away the $11k on frivolous stuff and then wish they had the Maverick back.

Might be because you have a 2023. Yes i did on another car a couple years ago.
