Reading about all the great offers people here have been getting for their vehicles like Carvana, so I decided to see what they would give me for my Ranger.

For my 2002 Ford Ranger Edge they offered me $200 which is basically “we’ll take it off your property for you.”

I’ve been offered $2000 for it from my brother in law which I will be taking him up on once my Maverick arrives. It’s my daily right now.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting much given the age of the vehicle. Obviously the market is for late model used not almost late last century models. Hahahahaha. Funny thing is, the asking prices on Auto Trader for Rangers is through the roof. I wonder what they end up getting for them, though.

If you're in California and you've got an old car, you can get a grand for it in our version of cash for clunkers. You do need to fail a smog check which isn't unlikely for a really old vehicle.

I told the mechanic who got my truck to pass smog that I was going to give it to the State and get the grand and he said he knew people who would pay that much for it so to come and see him first.

Thanx, but long ways away from Cali. Up in Vermont. We have no such program like that here, but, used 4 WD are in huge demand up here and mine is in very very nice shape. Well serviced by me, lotso Woolwax undercoatings by me so no rust inside or out. Even the Grey/Black seats are pristine as I just wore out the neoprene fitted seat covers that were on it from day 1. LOL.

Oh, lots of mods too. LMAO.
