Was wondering if you guys had any good recommendations for bed covers on the Maverick? I’m on a budget so it can’t be too expensive. Just looking for something quality that doesn’t flap around in the breeze.
I had the undercover installed on my 24 lariat it’s a hard top cover flush mount looks like it came from the factory. It’s awesome. $1000 I had it installed at a Linex truck accessories free installation and I got a $150 visa rebate

Bingo!! That’s the first question that needs to be answered before anything else!!
True
That was my first question in post #2. The OP didn't say. They just stated 'inexpensive'
My idea of inexpensive could be way different than somebody else's .

I will refrain from offering any recommendations, it tends to be anecdotal at best.
Let's start with some questions.
1. What is your real budget?
2. How important is it to keep items somewhat secure in the bed?
3. What are you going to be using the bed for 90% of the time?
4. If you need 99% of the bed open at times. Will it bother you if the rear window is covered while hauling the load. Realizing that an oversized load may be blocking your rear window anyway?
5. Realize that most bed covers are not watertight. Some seepage should be expected, especially if going through a car wash.

$300 Amazon or Ebay three section hard covers. Mine works fine. I drive thru automatic, NON BRUSH, car washes. It leaks a little bit and gets dusty inside if I drive on country roads. BUT, it does a good job for the money.

I did quite a bit of research and ended up getting the Gator SRX soft-roll-up from RealTruck. I love that it's low profile, and I live & work in relatively safe areas, so security is not a major concern for me - it's more about having a nice place to keep things (relatively) dry. It's more expensive than the bargain-basement finds you can choose on Amazon or elsewhere, but the low-profile look and support from RealTruck were worth it, IMO.

*I have not yet installed this - my Maverick is still en-route. BUT, I have used similar covers like it from Gator in the past, and they have been great!
This is the cover I’ve had for over a year, probably 15 or 16 months, and it’s still holding up great!

I'm replacing my Truxedo soft rollup with a hard one. DM me if interested.

I am still pleased with this one for $160. Easy to install (and take off, if need be.) Durable. Via Amazon.

If you are looking at soft trifold, My experience is you get what you pay for.
We have 3 Mavs in the famaily now. Bought a Truxedo at $500, Gator at $300 and an Amazon generic for $125. Functionally, they all get the job done the same. The cheepie latch is not as nice and the Truxedo has nicer fabric. The Gator is the sweet spot.
