Pick up 1 or 2 of these and toss them under the back seat with your cargo straps. Just don't get the cheap Straps from HF, I don't want to have to dodge your cargo as it departs your bed.

Moving Blankets
I notice that one of the HF moving blankets says that it is "two sided", makes me want to see the other blankets that don't have the second side??? Can they not be seen if you lay them with the side that's not there facing up??

That’s why I got the drop in bedliner but that has it’s own set of issues too, the bed cubbies are blocked off and you can’t install bed lighting under the lip around the bed as the plastic bedliner blocks that area off. But, at least I can slide stuff around easily and not have to worry about denting the bed if I throw a large heavy item in the back.

If yours is the ford liner, it has a cut out marked on the back of the side pieces. I installed mine yesterday. You have to buy longer 6mm machine screws to mount the cubbies back with.

Pretty cool, does the front cover have a rubber gasket that presses against the bedliner to keep water from getting in?

Scratch possibly but you should have a sheet under delicate items. Never seen black marks and I've had SIBLs on trucks for many years.

I wish I just got the bed rug since I have a soft tonneau cover. I’m mostly hauling furniture and other personal items, but the bedliner has been quite a nuisance. When you pull items off the bed, it can potentially leave black stains or scratch it.

I’m using a rug now to prevent this but I feel like I wasted $500
SIBL for rust protection & a rug as well. Or rubber mat.

You got a spray in for $500? Dang, I was quoted $650.
I already had the BedRug and it works very well. 15 minute install.
Mine was only 450 before my for reward points. So I paid 240 after the points.

I haven't had any problems with my SIBL but mine wasn't from Ford i got it don't at a affiliated company that way I could still use my points since it is paid for at the dealer

I regret getting the SIBL because I don't really need it. I could have gone the interlocking mats from HF and it would have serve my purpose. Imagine how much I could have saved.
It's all because you people kept saying I'm getting this, I'm getting that. I got caught up in it. WTH???? I need to stay off this forum. I spend too much time here and end up spending more money. I really love my truck though.

I have the factory spray in liner and will be getting a rubber mat. Something cheap and generic that I will cut to fit.
This is the way to go. You can get a 4x6 horse stall mat from Tractor Supply for $49 and cut it to size. Problem solved.

I don't think you wasted your money. Maybe you just need to alter your perspective. All the items that are leaving black stains or scratches on your SIBL when you transport them would with out the SIBL, be causing the same damage to your painted bed. Your SIBL is doing it's job! It's taking the wear and tear and keeping your painted bed free from scratches and rust.

For me, a SIBL is mandatory. It's as necessary as floor mats. The moving blankets others have suggested, are a low cost solution to your problem. Heck you could even use cardboard. If you transport a lot of goods, you might invest in a bedrug. I ordered the xlt mat through tonneaucovered.com for $180 with no tax and free shipping. It covers the tailgate and the gap between the tailgate and bed. The impact mat is similar, (different material) and is available through the Ford Accessories store.

It can be purchased for less elsewhere.
Looks good
