I feel 'ya! MG is made in China in nowadays... it used to be British thoAnd being an MG, it has to be hauled a lot!
Just kidding, I'm a recovering European car enthusiast (Alfas & Fiats)
My trailer does have bakes, electric, and the factory brake controller works well with most trailers.Definitely an investment in life. In NH, you are required to have trailer brakes on any trailer >1,500 lbs. if you got in an accident where others were injured or killed, you would likely be found negligent and responsible for the accident, even if it was not your fault.
Yes, sad. I recently learned that a Chinese company bought all of MG. I only buy USA made but it is getting increasingly to find all or mostly USA produced stuff. Trump has a big push to "build American, buy American" but it will take a few years to swing around. But it's coming. Maybe some British company will buy back MG..??I feel 'ya! It is a little bit of a contradiction when you drive a Maverick if you only buy USA made, isn't it?I only buy USA made but it is getting increasingly to find all or mostly USA produced stuff. Trump has a big push to "build American, buy American" but it will take a few years to swing around.
Yup, a little bit. Many components are made in the US and of course the whole concept and design is US, but indeed, some major components as well as the assembly are Mexico. I don't like it and hope FORD eventually gets out of Mexico and China. It is a little bit of a contradiction when you drive a Maverick if you only buy USA made, isn't it?
I agree, along with John Deere, CASE and many other companies.Yup, a little bit. MGB GT FTW !I get mileage in the high teens hauling my MG on the highway. Trailer brakes, 2.0, 4k and total weight 3600. When I downsized to Mavericks I downsized my trailer from a steel deck open 18' to a semi aluminum open center 17' with torsion bar suspension so ramps are 3 ft long and weigh @10 lb each. Agree new aluminum trailers are getting expensive.
PS: I like your tractor.![]()
