There are 2 others I know of in PA I believe. Both are at the same dealer. One is all black, and one is silver. They want about $8,000 each though.I'll have to keep an eye out to see if any other XTs pop up on there.

I'm surprised it's such a small difference. I guess the truck does a lot to block? The lower model would probably save 4-5 MPG. it is 12" shorter in height, but you probably lose 16"-18" in headroom because those have taller tires and more ground clearance. Both taper down some at the front which will help a little. This one is the lower model: Carbon Fiber Extreme | Outbound Trailer
This is a standard behind the S10, and the Taller XT behind the F150. Notice the difference in wheels.

Truck helps, but a truck cap helps more. I might buy a flated cap just for road trips. I'll see what the mpg is first.I'm surprised it's such a small difference. I guess the truck does a lot to block?
Nebraska is already a trip, Penn wouldn't be worth the drive. There are 2 others I know of in PA I believe. Both are at the same dealer. One is all black, and one is silver. They want about $8,000 each though.
I want your negotiation skills! How did you talk them down over 50%?! I paid just over 12 grand for a 21 Springdale mini 18 foot length.I've been watching this simple unit for a while. It's a 2023 Outbound Extreme XT. Only bad thing is it is pretty tall at 93", but I will be able to stand in it. EW is about 1100#. This will fit in my Garage at home. Wide enough for a queen Mattress, and it has 2 58"x24" bunk beds up front. List price with options was $13,170. You don't get much camper at any price any more. This will work for our road trips.

Above was the original asking price. I like that the optional wrap will somewhat match my Atlas Blue Hybrid. Above you can see the bunks, it also has the Electric package, with Air conditioner and storage cubby above. Bunks will most likely be used for storage too, unless a grandchild comes with.

Paying $5495, plus $100 doc fee. Nothing else really compares for the money. Should tow pretty easy at 65mph.
For me it would be 120 miles closer to go to PA at 495 miles. The Nebraska location is 616 miles for me. But the options and color is better on the one in NE for me. And the price can't be beat. Here's the other two: New RVs For Sale (rvleaders.com)Nebraska is already a trip, Penn wouldn't be worth the drive.![]()
No negotiation! At this price I wasn't even going to try. They slowly dropped price over time. 2 months ago it was $6995 and that was tempting. I saw a post on their FB page that they were closing out 23 models on Friday evening. Checked the website and saw $5495 for this now. I had to buy it. It has $2475 worth of options, And Base price is now $10,850 before options list. I guess I just saw it at the right time. I would've probably bought one of 2 others had this one been sold. I called 10 minutes before they opened on Monday, and got this deal done.I want your negotiation skills! How did you talk them down over 50%?! Yes, and Camper prices for the most part have returned to normal. No longer do you pay list. Next up, automakers!I think manufacturers / dealers have finally caught up to the spike in demand caused by the pandemic. I have driven by many camper dealers where their lots were overflowing. They had no more places to put any more campers.
I am looking into options, but not sweating it. Even a V nose has limited benefit. You may want to put a fairing on the front, to guide the air around the box, will tow much easier, our little homebuilt has about 18,000 miles on it, 10,000 in the last year behind the Maverick.![]()
What are the odds? I've never heard of this manufacturer until today, and then I discover they are located just 120 miles away in the same state. I'll have to check them out.I've been watching this simple unit for a while. It's a 2023 Outbound Extreme XT. Only bad thing is it is pretty tall at 93", but I will be able to stand in it.
