Only certain dealerships meet the qualifications set by Ford to offer mobile service. I think they have to have enough volume to make it worthwhile. In most cases Ford reimburses the dealer 1/2 hour extra to do a mobile repair. And obviously only certain repairs qualify for it.My mobile service tech lives about 15 miles north of my house which is 24 miles north of dealership. Once when he called to let me know he was headed my way he said it would take him about 1hr&15minutes to arrive as he was leaving a town north of my house on a mainly 75mph route. Once he called and said he was running about 30 minutes later than the start of his arrival window as he had diversion call to jump start a vehicle (he did not say Maverick). He drives an escape. The dealership also has at least one gigantic mobile service truck/van that occasionally will be parked in front of dealership probably to advertise availability. Dang thing would probably cost over 100k plus tools, etc.
