I did a lot of highest driving yesterday. Most of it was cruise control set at 75mph.
Same things everyone is reporting, lots of wind noise and around 32mpg.
The pleasing thing is how unnoticeable the ICE is at that speed. I guess this is one advantage of the eCVT. When cruising down the highway I don't think it ever got above 2500rpm!
I'd like to see a comparable RPM from an EB owner going 75 mph.
Also, after watching the torque pro readout for a bit, it's safe to assume that your battery is hovering around %40 charge. If it gets much below %35 the ICE turns on and it starts charging. If it gets much above %45 electric mode kicks on. The ECU seems to like it at %40.
Also, I think the onboard fuel economy readout is optimistic. Or, at least it didn't agree with the math torque pro was putting out.
