I honestly don’t take any of these claims seriously unless you can back it up with Fuelly. I think a lot of you guys see 40-50-60 mpg trips (over 5-7 miles) and believe that is your actual true fuel economy.

The 2025 struggles big time to meet the EPA ratings. Hard stop.
I get 750 miles between visits to a gas station.

Harder Stop.

I have driven 4,000 miles of city, mountains, highway.. and my overall MPG is 36.9. Pretty much exactly right on the EPA estimate for the 2025 AWD Hybrid.

I commute 14 miles uphill at freeway speed and get 29mpg pretty much every time. The commute home downhill varies between 75-90mpg depending on conditions.. ie heater cranked or AC cranked.

So for me, the estimated EPA range seems quite accurate.

No it doesn't. If I drop down to 65mph it may get 31mpg on the highway.

In the City I drive as conservative as possible and right to the speed limit and I have never averaged above 37mpg.

It's still great MPG, it just is not the stated MPG.
On my last fillup I hand calculated 43 MPG. in the summer I do a little better. in the dead of winter slightly worse.

Drove my 2024 Hybrid maverick 200 miles today It has 950 miles on it now. Drove most of it at 80mph. I got a average of 34.8mpg.
Is this normal for a hybrid with under 1k miles?
I recently drove to Los Angeles. I went 310 miles and 99 percent was freeway at 65ish. I have a bed cover and I don't know if that helps. I got 40.2 mpg.

I just hit 1000 miles on my 24 hybrid XL. I know it's not a '25 AWD. I put a total of 24.6 gallons fuel in it. Calculates to 40.6 mpg. The display reads 41, so it's pretty close. I drive it for mileage, the wife drives it to get there quick.

I found mine got better after the first oil change at around 5k miles (I know Ford says 10k). I’m sitting at almost 8k miles and get 600-615 miles to a tank between 43-44mpg average based on Gas Buddy tracker. Most of my driving is city though so expect a dip if you are on the interstate. You’ll get better driving it too. I had to relearn braking to get the most regen I could.

Fuelly or you’re full of it.
You've been on here a long time and you've undoubtedly seen hundreds, probably thousands of posts about how little effort it takes to gain 10 more MPG.

If you choose not to, your choice.
Just don't complain about low MPG you are getting by choice.

24 miles in 37 minutes in the city with stoplights, now that's brisk baby!

It's not a fluke. I do it 5 days a week.

@710-oil-614 I've got 40 or 50 more images similar to these. Interested?
