I just did a 6000+ km trip from Toronto to Florida and back. The truck says my consumption is 5.5 l/100 kms which is a hair under 43 mpg. I was surprised that it remained so close to that number for the trip. It did go up to 5.6 at one point, but returned to 5.5. The truck was loaded with luggage (I have a Leer cap) so I'm happy. I don't hypermile or play with settings.
It is a decent little truck and much cheaper to fuel than my 2008 3.0 l Ranger which has made the same trip many times.

With a bit over 16,000kms on the truck now, my mileage just keeps getting better. Here is a quick snap of the dash at the end of my last trip on country roads with some smaller hills. 3.6L/100km is 65mpg in U.S. gallons.
