Hybrid Engine Temperature Indicator Thingy

Well, it was nice of Ford to supply an engine coolant temperature indicator, but there is no reference, so we're just looking at dashes in a line.

Well Not No More!!
This a shot of my temp indicator when I had 4 dashes showing. Watching my Scangauge, I recorded temps for each line segment. The temp shown on the image is the temp when the segment comes ON. My coolant temp never gets higher than 185°F, so the 5th segment has never lit up.

Noticed the same calibration of the temp gauge on my 24 XLT FX4 with CarScanner display. Mine has not exceeded 185 (4 bars) either.

Same here using my OBDLink MX+. However, I did hit 200 degrees on an hot day in Sport Mode and still no fifth bar. Has anyone hit the fifth bar? What was your temp for the fifth bar if you know it via the coolant PID?

Thanks for the info! Have been curious what the increments were ever since I bought my truck. I've also never seen the fifth bar.

Probably need to be really loading it. I recall TFL had the bar maxed out near the red when they did their 4k Ike gauntlet test.

Right, I believe I recall that from their video too. I guess, I hope to never see it past four bars!
