I had my Maverick at the dealership today and spoke with a salesman who has a hybrid on order. He said the hybrid’s brakes are another item in short supply and causing delays.

He is correct. Dealers can pull a report that gives "reasons" why vehicles weren't scheduled. Some are hard to make sense of. But they do list constraints for unscheduled vehicles. I just checked our report - brakes are listed as plant constraint for the Hybrid Mavericks, but not the EBs.Have yet to read a post on MTC where a salesperson knew more accurate information than what you can find here.
If yours is correct, it will be a first. Good luck.
That sounds right. The note does say W/ELCT BRK BOST. We don't have any EB Lariats on order, so I don't know about those for sure, but you are likely correct.I'd suspect the electric brake assist that all the hybrids have. Might also affect the EcoBoost Lariats w/ Luxury Pack that also include it?
The Hybrid needs a special vacuum booster for the brakes. Most vehicles get the vacuum from the engine but a hybrid can't count on the engine always running to provide the vacuum. He is correct. I don't like to look at the constraint items on orders in WBDO because if you look at a hybrid it'll have about 5 different options that it's saying it's constrained but they all are related to the hybrid.@fordvideoguy Are you seeing the same hybrid brake constraint?
Yes, most of the time EB gets scheduled much quicker than hybrids.Sorry if this has been stated before on here but do EB actually get scheduled quicker than Hybrids? The only reason I ordered a EB was because my sales rep said an EB would only be a 4-5 month lead time. I ordered it 3 months ago and still do not have a scheduled build date.

so you ordered in January? I ordered middle December and haven't been scheduled either- but that was expected. There's people with orders from months earlier than mine also not scheduled too. There was a few people reporting here of getting built in as little as 3 months with later order dates- but that is the exception- not normal. You should probably re-calibrate expectations of what sales rep said and expect minimum time just to get scheduled of 4-5 months. Then add another couple months for actual production and shipping.Sorry if this has been stated before on here but do EB actually get scheduled quicker than Hybrids? Have you called Ford directly? You maybe scheduled but not notified yet. This is what I found for my July order. I haven't received anything from Ford through email. I did however get my build date and VIN. Build date 5/16/22Just my weekly Thursday afternoon chiming in to remind Ford and everyone that I ordered June 10th and still haven't been scheduled yet. Other than this whole brake thing, I have no restraints listed. Remember when Ford said recently that they were going to build trucks in the order of who ordered first?
Wheres my notice Ford? I know you have my ordered. Been calling every other week since November and you keep confirming I'm still good to go. If I don't a notice by the end of today, you latest message was a lie.
