Ford sure messed up the BMS for both the EB and the hybrid. The EB already has a software fix and Ford promised a software fix for the hybrid in the 1st quarter of 2025.

Doubtful.
You have to take it to a Ford dealer and have them test it.
After about a 1 1/2 hour test, they told me mine was fine, and would start the truck. I asked them why it went into deep sleep everyday and they couldn't answer and also would not replace it.
If its going into deep sleep then your battery is not fine. Get the Ford rep involved to override the stupid dealer. Think about changing dealers to get one who has a clue.

It's been on/off annoying for 21 months, but it's also gone away for 6 months at a time. Back right now it seems. Always starts and drives. Maybe let the ICE run before you shut down each time. Again, always has started and driven but we'll see.

I'm on my 3rd battery in 32 months. Told my service advisor I'd see him again in 9 months, he just smiled.

A drastic solution if you're willing to sacrifice FordPass...turn it off in the infotainment menu along with wifi/auto-updates. Never had a problem since and I let my truck sit for days. I know some people say to pull fuse #11, but I think disabling FordPass has the same result. I don't get the pop-up anymore. Never had to charge or jump my battery.

I don't have the horn honk.
You can turn that off in your truck's settings in the instrument cluster menu. It's under locks. Disable "Mislock Chirp."
Yeah, but why double-lock? What does that do in this case? And since when is a honk a chirp? LOL.

Just had my 8 month old XLT Hybrid at the dealer regarding continual App message. Truck in Battery Saver mode. Please drive to refresh. Checked battery voltage and it is at 11.82 volts and dropping each week. Dealer reset BMS and said the battery is good. Got home and 3 hours later got the message again. Called dealer and they said nothing they could do ford Engineers working on a fix. I'll just have to get used to no Dome light, heat or AC at times and no remote start, until there is a fix. I asked , what happens when the battery goes dead. Do I have to replace it. He said I don't know. This has been going on for more than 2 months First every so often to now, every day. No matter how much I drive! Good luck all of you with this problem. I think I'm done with EV's of any kind.
I have the same issue. I put a battery maintainer on it and plug it in if it is going to sit for a couple days.

Same here... I use the truck for long trips in summer and it stays charged for about 4 months a year. It went into battery save mode again in September. At the last oil change my dealer acknowledged there was a problem and said "next time we'll swap the battery." That will be this month.

I would think Ford can fix this with software... Sometimes I'll be in the garage, an hour or more after driving and hear the truck go through a series of clicks. The truck seams to be sitting waiting and burning battery far too long.

I'm not willing to turn off the app or go through a series of 'fixes' each time. It should just work. It's what I paid for. (P.S. Still LOVE my truck :)

Took mine to the dealer for this issue. Not sure if they replaced the battery or just charged it... but it sat all weekend without being driven, and I did not get Deep Sleep! That's the longest it's gone without that message since shortly after I got it. It was nice getting in and having a dome light this morning....

Don't ask me, I didn't name the stupid Mislock setting. 🙂

I read on MTC that fob double-lock would make the click 'n clack relays stop clickin' & clackin' faster than single-lock or no lock, and decrease battery drain a little. Does help? Hell-if-I-know. All I know is, I haven't had to take time to deal with a stealership (over an hour away), to convince them to replace my battery or buy an AGM on my own dime, because I haven't had any battery issues yet.

Your battery was probably already insufficiently charged when you got it. And the truck doesn't seem to allow the charging system to ever fully charge the 12v battery.

In the MY22 & 23 the double-lock has been observed to turn off accessory items right then - no potential 60-90 min down to whatever the system thinks the delay max can be (mine is about down to no delay so battery must be getting lower).

Doesn't stop some of the other relays from going off though, so some clicks will likely still happen (fuel pressure, ect).

Now - I've tested on the MY24, at least mfg 3/24, and with latest BCM update - and the double-lock on XLT non-keyless entry (perhaps that is difference) - does NOT instantly turn power off.
The OBD and charger lights stay on.
As mentioned it used to be pretty long, now it's down to basically nothing.

But I could see the keyless-entry option having a different reaction.
