Just thought I would post this to get some feedback. So, I just got back from the dealership for an oil change for my '24 Maverick (Lariat). I then updated the software for the Ford Pass in the vehicle (not the app). A few minutes later I received a notification about the battery going to Save Mode. I don't know why when I have driven the vehicle every day for work and just drove to the dealership this morning. Now mind you I usually don't get the Battery Save Mode notification unless I have not driven the vehicle for at least a couple days.

turn off your wifi and auto update in the radio setting and that should at least stopping the battery drainage. I just had my software update and that left these features on and I got a complete battery drain that required a jump. Turn off these features seemed to prevent this issue for me.

The 12V battery is used to run the control electronics, not start the vehicle. So unless the battery is REALLY damaged and can't get up to the required minimum voltage and current to run a few circuit boards, it will go into deep sleep mode but start the vehicle just fine. Just get a replacement battery under warranty before the sulphation issue gets so bad that it won't start anymore. The rumour is that a fix is coming in 1Q25.

My dealership finally put in a agm battery about 2 months ago....after 3 days of not using the maverick, the new battery failed miserably....10.47 volts in the morning, down to 6.48 volts by the afternoon...I was totally disappeared....but hear is the good news... I put NOCO genius 1 on for about 2 days and and charged to 13.8 volts....this was about 3 weeks ago....I used the vehicle for short trips.... after checking the voltages, it was 12.40 volts ... now the interesting part, after settling out for about 2 hours it continuously ramps back up to 12.70 volts.... what a change and I don't know how to explain it......backtracking I must assume that the techs at the dealership didn't properly change the AGM battery... I am hoping that my 2 year battery problems are over...this was my 4th battery...good luck...
