Those of us with a Hybrid want the hybrid badge so we can hold our nose in the air just like Prius drivers have done for years.why would anyone put MORE badging and free advertising for Ford on their car? I'm in the process of scrubbing all the logos off mine. Maybe in some States you can use the express lanes if you have an EV or Hybrid?
I can understand the 4x4 and AWD badging so you can get through snow country checkpoints without having chains on, but beyond that it's just garish and weird. In my stupid opinion.
I'm not marching around the neighborhood showing what brand of soup I buy to everyone for some reason, definitely not getting PAID to advertise them, , so can labels are irrelevant. You sound like you peel labels off the soup cans before you stock them in your pantry.
You must be difficult to shop for.I'm not marching around the neighborhood showing what brand of soup I buy to everyone for some reason, definitely not getting PAID to advertise them, , so can labels are irrelevant.
If Ford/BMW/Fiat/etc. want to pay me a little to advertise their products like an influencer, cool. But they are not, they are just putting ads on my stuff without asking if I want them. I guess it's to impress the poors? But why would anyone be impressed with the cheapest pickup available?
there's a design/enthusiast thang called debadging that some car owners do. It's not just me.You must be difficult to shop for.
I get not adding a badge, but i bet to most people, trying to scrape the ford badging off your truck is arguably worse haha.
You go shopping with your clothes inside out?
This just in -- man seen outside yelling at cloud -- more at 5 .. back to you at the desk.
Doesn't sound like you're in that same category.there's a design/enthusiast thang called debadging that some car owners do. It's not just me.
a little dramatic, but I'm glad you have a good footing on your soapbox.Reminds me of Idiocracy ...

They're usually the same...people who will also slap branding stickers all over their cars. Go figure...there's a design/enthusiast thang called debadging that some car owners do. It's not just me.
Reminds me of the badging from the early 2000s when new features were becoming commonplace such as:why would anyone put MORE badging and free advertising for Ford on their car?
Even with AWD badging I still wasn't allowed through a checkpoint with a MazdaSpeed6 (AWD) until I showed the person the Monroney that says that the vehicle is AWD. I suppose for good reason, because badging can be meaningless. I once went to an off road park and the rangers were checking for front driveshafts to ensure that it at least looked like you had functional 4WD since there is a small creek crossing to access the park.I can understand the 4x4 and AWD badging so you can get through snow country checkpoints without having chains on
I have NO faith in humanity whatsoever but even I refuse to believe that someone will "automatically" buy a turbo by virtue of no badge.I find it interesting that Ford quit putting hybrid badges on the newest models. They don’t want the public to know they’re available, that way the uninformed will buy the turbos automatically.
To be fair, no Mavericks get badges anymore. hybrid or EB.I find it interesting that Ford quit putting hybrid badges on the newest models. They don’t want the public to know they’re available, that way the uninformed will buy the turbos automatically.

I honestly won't purchase a vehicle that has anything from the dealership. I had one of the first Broncos in Central Ohio - a beautiful Eruption Green Base Sasquatch....I don’t mind advertising the brand or model or even optional packages but I ain’t advertising for the dealership, that’s always been the first emblem to go unless they are willing to pay for this service during the vehicle’s purchasing negotiation. Roadside Signs, Television and Radio Ads aren’t free and neither is my mobile billboards they always refuse my offer of a $50.00 a month ad fee for the first 5 years![]()
You think Ford would deliberately discourage a higher OTD price? Interesting... Completely insane, but interesting.I find it interesting that Ford quit putting hybrid badges on the newest models. They don’t want the public to know they’re available, that way the uninformed will buy the turbos automatically.
I went with the Hybrid/AWD badge in the original place for the previous gen even though I have a '25. I like the factory look and if it helps with AWD access points, HOV lanes or green vehicle parking that's a bonus.Tuffskinz makes a new hybrid badge.. anyone put a hybrid emblem on somewhere other than the tailgate?
