Does anyone have an answer for this? While set at fan speed “1”, The HVAC periodically blows at a much higher volume. Highway speed, usually on an incline.
WTF?

If it is a hybrid, its electric AC compressor does not do that.A/C cutout? Not sure if Maverick will shut off the compresssor under heavy load but the vehicles I've ridden in that do, typically run up the fan speed to cover up the shutoff.
Try setting the preferred speed to 2 instead of 1. If fan set speed on automatic cannot hold cabin temp within 2 (or 3 possibly, not sure) degrees the ac will adjust fan speed and probably ramp up condenser also to bring cabin to set temp.Does anyone have an answer for this? Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.Does anyone have an answer for this? While set at fan speed “1”, The HVAC periodically blows at a much higher volume. Highway speed, usually on an incline.

Turn off the "Auto" Function.Does anyone have an answer for this? While set at fan speed “1”, The HVAC periodically blows at a much higher volume. Highway speed, usually on an incline.

Fan output increases anytime lower than 68 is set on either dials.Turn off the "Auto" Function.
The Auto will increase the fan speed to keep what you have the TEMP set to.
I hate the "AUTO" Function as well. I am fine if the temp goes up a couple of degrees. The fan on HIGH is LOUD AS HELL!
Only if you have AUTO on or MAX A/C. I drive around all day everyday with the Reg A/C with or without Recirc and both dials set to LOW and my fan is set to 2 notches and it stays at 2. But If I hit Auto and the dials are set to LOW Yes the fan go Full on Hurricane mode. The fan goes to full blast as well when I hit MAX A/CFan output increases anytime lower than 68 is set on either dials.
