It really isn't very useful information. As you drive along, the HV battery collects current from the regenerative system, and allows you to use it. The pile of current goes up and down, all day long. Not as a % of charge. There is the hybrid coach (optional display setting) that can be displayed on the driver information screen, with a blue bar that gives you some idea of where the level is.
I agree. My previous vehicle, Camry Hybrid, showed battery level and unless I was sitting in stop and go traffic not moving for long periods of time with AC on the charge level was irreverent. It really isn't very useful information. I can see the HV state in my C-Max, and that has made it clear to me that it really doesn't matter as there isn't much you can do about it...except maybe drive downhill all day to raise it.
Probably why Ford changed the displays in the hybrid Maverick to help keep eyes on the road more than watching the little blue tube.
What's your average MPG?It really isn't very useful information. As you drive along, the HV battery collects current from the regenerative system, and allows you to use it. The pile of current goes up and down, all day long.

Funny comment..."Each person should decide..." followed by telling someone his "digital speedometer is a stupid waste of space..."What's your average MPG?
Hit 800 miles on a single fill up?
I think each person should decide what is useful and what isn't.
Digital speedometer is a stupid waste of space in my opinion. You have a permanent one. Why would anyone want two?
