how long did you wait for a Maverick Hybrid

In real time, 13 months (ordered Sept 15 2022 at 4:30 pm EST, the time the banks opened for 2023 MY) and it I took it home October 13th 2023.

Realistically, an extra year at least. I got screwed when Ford shut down the 2022s in mid October 2021, so I had to extend my Fusion Energi Plug-in Hybrid lease an extra year to start (Jan 2022 to Jan 2023) then several 2-month extensions (with proof that I had a valid order for a truck so they would allow the constant extensions.) Eventually bought it out to sell (buyout was INSANELY cheap vs the value). Did that after my truck arrived and after I took delivery. Used Auto Lenders and they gave top dollar.

100% worth the wait. I FREAKING LOVE MY TRUCK! Getting 50 mpg right now and over 700 miles on a tank. Absolutely AMAZING! And for $27,750 (used X-Plan for it) for an XLT Hybrid with Lux package, it's a steal!

Also, why is this still a thing in mid-2024? Dealers have non-marked up hybrids in stock now.

If you find what you want in stock, go for it. If not order. I've yet to see a dealer selling any Maverick under MSRP in my region.

18 months - finally came in April, 2023. I’d given up that it would happen at all. Been a great time since I assumed the wheel!
