I ordered a 2022 hybrid Maverick XLT on 10/15/21. I was told by the Ford dealer that it should be 8-12 weeks before it's produced and delivered. I have them 90 days, and then I called Ford Customer Service. I was told there were constraints on parts. That's all I needed to hear. I decided to call Ford dealers as far away as I was willing to travel to try to find a Maverick of any trim level. It took several weeks, but I found a hybrid XL in Gastonia, NC, and flew up there to buy it. On 30 March, the dealer I ordered from called and said they had a hybrid XLT that a customer declined to take delivery on. I traded in the XL for the XLT. I received a production date from Ford in August, followed by six emails stating delays because of parts constraints, followed by cancellation email with a Special offer to transition to a '23 hybrid with priority and a special incentive. The XLT that I had didn't have all of the options I wanted and needed, so I decided to start another search for a Maverick with options I needed, such as CP360, Lux pkg, and such. I needed CP360 due to having multiple surgeries on my cervical spine with a limited Range of Motion to the left, right, up, and down. I found a hybrid Lariat fully loaded with all the bells and whistles in Tampa on 27 Oct 22, and I negotiated the deal over the phone I drove down and traded in the XLT. I'm done looking around as I'm completely satisfied with my hybrd Lariat! Iove my little truck!

498 days. Those days are over however. The payoff for those ‘22 carryover order holders that were ok to wait, was a great deal at the end.
