you still need to turn your head to check and see if there's a car next to you each time you change lane.
I think turning your head is a reasonable expectation.

I have zero issues with my maverick mirrors. I make a point to scan my BLIS in the mirror too for good measure. For context, my daily drivers in the past two years were an F250 and Jetta SportWagen.

Your head doesn’t turn?

Any issues with your steering wheel due to the need to move your hands?

I'm going to be honest. Without sitting in the truck, it is hard to judge this one. I know how to set my mirrors and still prefer the little domes in the corner. Only reason I haven't put them on the Escape is it is my wife's car and she didn't care for them.

But I've driven numerous vehicle types over the years from HMMWVs to two door coups and never found the B pillar to be particularly transparent. So, I guess I've just learned to work around it.

Of course, you should be doing that with blind spot mirrors, BLIS, or nothing else unless you want to be one of these wrecked maverick threads.

Must be me because sitting in the driver side my left view get blocked by the pillar behind the driver seat. I had to lean to the right and back to see my blind spot every time. Got frustrated so I ordered the blind spot mirrors and hope they will take care of this issue.

You talk about driver's side blind spot yet you post a picture of the passenger side. No wonder you garner confused reactions.

There are some here that are interested in a blind spot mirror as well but it's hard to decide if what you have is the one to go with. Try posting a picture from the inside so we can see the actual view.
I have BLIS but I still like having a blind spot mirror. The ones I have I bought from AUTOZONE. Those come in two sizes. Below is the smaller one. I have the bigger one on our Explorer and F150.

I find a 3" frog eye stuck on the outer lower corner of the OEM mirror works wonders to eliminate blind spots, and greatly aids parking as well. Of course, proper adjustment is critical as well. It seems many people don't know how to adjust their mirrors correctly, typically having too much of their own vehicle in their field of view.

I guess I'll take down the pic so people don't get confuse. Seriously, you don't need pic to understand what I wrote about my problem if you are experiencing the same issue. But this is the internet so I am an equal opportunity poster and all comments are welcomed even the dumb ones.

Just for clarification....
Are you saying the B pillar is blocking the view in your mirror or is blocking your peripheral vision/view to the side (not the mirror)?

Realize that most are going to have an XLT or Lariat with either an integrated blind spot mirror or CoPilot 360. Even a good percentage of XLs probably have CP360.

wow! you already have a build date, that was fast!
You want build dates? Oh, do I have build dates. I have had TEN build dates so far !!!!!!! Ordered a plain Ole hybrid XL in October, 2021 with only a drop-in bedliner. In August, they said September 5. As of Friday, it is January 9 which I don’t believe will happen.

I adjust my mirrors so I see a portion of the side of my car in the left or right mirror. Then I count on the co-pilot to pick up the blind spots. In my opinion the co-pilot 360 was worth every penny. I have noticed when driving if a full size or larger truck gets behind me I get a distracting reflection in my left rear view mirror. I do not have this issue with my Pacifica or Accord.
