Must be me because sitting in the driver side my left view get blocked by the pillar behind the driver seat. I had to lean to the right and back to see my blind spot every time. Got frustrated so I ordered the blind spot mirrors and hope they will take care of this issue.

Just have the side mirrors’ views line up with rear view mirror’s view.

You should not have your mirrors pointed at any pillars. The side mirrors should only have a tiny bit of your own vehicle at their inside edge. The center mirror will overlap this view atleast above the line of sight provided by your tailgate. Convex blindspot mirrors are for seeing a wider view than the side mirrors allow, such as on a 3 lane highway or sidewalk on a multi-lane city street.

Really interesting post. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the Maverick visibility is - I expected way worse going from my single cab to a crew cab. I especially noticed how great the visibility is on the left. I'm guessing we're using different seat heights and locations.

I also got CP360 and it's great to have that blind spot indicator.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the mirrors. Perhaps a bit small, but they cover all the areas one would need to see. Be a good driver and the "troubles"disappear.

About the only thing other than mpg that has been a problem with my 2012 Chevy Colorado is the blind spot. The headrests do not come off. The first day I get my Maverick, in 2028, I will be removing three headrests.

I cant really figure your issue. Either side doesnt change anything. Are you trying to see the drivers side through the passenger side mirror?

I guess I just dont get what blind spot you are talking about. It doesnt matter what car I drive as long as the mirrors on the side are bigger than the one in a ladies purse, I actively have a visualization in my head of the whole 360 degrees surrounding my car. The center mirror isnt even really neccessary. But I was taught to drive by people who were into racing and such, few years after that I went through trucking school and spent 1 day on the manueverability week before I started training all the other guys that were falling behind. When you actively remember everything you pass, you already know the landscape behind you and spotting movement out of the corners of your eyes and mirrors fills in the whole picture.

I grabbed one of those $9 mirrors off amazon...so wide you can see out both your rear door windows. (B pillars and back)
'joytutus rear view mirror' - Has springed clips to slap over the stock rear view mirror so might be worth a try.

I recommend anyone considering the extra blindspot mirrors use the link above or youtube how to set mirrors. Most people do it wrong ( myself included for many years ) and once you know how to set them it is a HUGE change.

Edit: The video I used to learn it

you still need to turn your head to check and see if there's a car next to you each time you change lane.

Add me to this complaint. I too have issue with the B pillar creating an obstruction in my views. I ended up with those same stick on mirrors.

What we can discuss that everyone sits in the car different. Those that sit with the seat slid back will find the B pillar right at their ear. A shorter person will have the B pillar aft of their shoulder and may not be bothered by it.

we can also discuss is reflected angle of view to the mirrors. (If your eyes are closer to the mirror you have a wider reflected field of view, eyeball farther from the mirror creates a narrower reflected field of view). For Ford to address this, either larger mirrors, relocate the mirrors, or change the mirrors to have the fancy mirrors that have a split normal reflective surface as well as a convex area.
