Hit a Bear!! Aftermarket bumper needed

Ok it was a small bear and I was not driving fast but it did a number on the front bumper cover and skirting below it. I have decided not to turn it into insurance. OEM parts are over $2k and the body shop wants $4k. I looked on ebay and they have this kit Ford Maverick Upper Lower Bumper Cover Grille Radiator Bracket Set for $509.

Does anybody have any experience with these? Can I do it myself?

Id try LKQ or local parts recyclers. Look for a ass ended Maverick. May be cheaper and OEM.

I popped the bumper back in place by getting behind it through the wheel well lining, It was completely caved in and the plastic is torn. There were remnents of bear fur in the cracks.

Mr.Boom did a video on removing the front bumper to replace the Ford emblem. .The entire front needs to be removed.
I may have to add foglights if I have it this far apart.

Call or search LKQ online I have used them many times over the years. Stick with OEM parts! trust me you do not want aftermarket! They never fit right!

I was going to go find the bear and have a bear rug made for in front of the fireplace but then I saw momma and thought twice.
It is a 2022 xl in Cactus gray.

I guess you could say that you have "Defurred Maintenance" on your truck.
