Red Mountain Pass: 11,018 FASL. Part of the "Million Dollar Highway" connecting Ouray, CO to Silverton, CO. It's amazing. The Mav had no problems doing it. I've driven to the top of Pikes Peak, 14,115ft, but in a Challenger, not the Mav. Both are white knuckle drives

When we went up Pikes Peak in about 1998 I was still a long time smoker. I learned you don't try to smoke a cigarette at 14400 feet . The world goes gray and you have to sit down.

Just the other day we took a day trip up to Crown King Arizona. 6200 feet. Boy did the Maverick's tail gate get dirty.

11,158 feet, I70, Eisenhower Tunnel, both directions., last December. Traction law in effect on the east-bound trip. Long line of truckers chaining up in the slow lane.

"L" did a pretty good job at braking.

Same as you were questioned on post #56 by post #58. It’s nice up there. I’ve met up with snow once. Cost to move a car to/from defeated shipping one. I shipped my Mav around the Caribbean for a fraction of that cost.
