@whitef recently reported they were at 99,000 miles in a 2022 EcoBoost (FWD).
I just did the 100k service last weekend and am at about 101k now. Sent in an oil sample.

Provided the oil analysis is still good (I send a sample every 25k) I'm still on track to make 200k drama free miles.

My only vehicle is a 22 first edition and now have 22k miles on it. Does that count?

I think you actually answered what I assume the OP was asking.
1 million miles( -1) is unlikely to be reached by many.
The old mechanical odometers used to roll over at 100K IIRC, as they only had 5 digits.
No I had a AMC car from the 80's and there was a digit to the left that came up 100000. Also a 1997 Ford Escort had a mechanical odometer that shows 100000 on it too. Never got to the see a 200000 miles because I dropped the valve seat ruined the engine.

I never owned an AMC, vehicle, but I drove a few of them for the county in the 70's, but their mileage wasn't my concern. I can't testify to a 50 year old memory, but the 83 Chevy C10 pickup out in my driveway I just took a look at is showing 44K on the clock but it's actually 144K.
I can take a picture if you want to place a bet. ;)
Have you ever owned any cars from the 60's?
With possibly a few exceptions, they rolled over at 6 integer digits.
I'm thinking they didn't expect them to last over 100K.

I read stuff like, (Big know it all voice says)
“The Ecoboost engine was designed to last 200,000 miles” or sum such bullshit.

My 2008 2.7 L 4 banger Taco was not designed to last 528,000 either but it did.
With TEN THOUSAND MILE Oil change intervals, several 12,000 mile runs in there.

Change the fluids on time, drive it like you stole it once or twice a month and Fagetaboutit!
My 93 oj Bronco I sold at 44k to a friend of mine and he asked me if i wanted it back several years later. I said, why don't you just sell it and he replied, I tried to but no one was interested in it. I then asked him why that was was it all banged up or something and he replied that he thought it was because it had over 400,000 miles on it. I asked it was all original still and he said it was that he had done just as i suggested regular service with full synthetic lubricants and the only thing replaced was the rear differential gear. He ended up donating it to pps for a tax write off.

A buddy,
Toyota Previa mini van,
Ran smooth, top speed was 60 mph,
His wife used it as a grocery getter in town,
Air Conditioning still worked,
994,000 miles, original engine and tranny.

It slowed to a top speed of 50 mph and they got $500 trade in. It was 14 years old.
My buddy drove 100,000 - 120,000 miles a year but had to go 75 mph on the interstates.
Hence, it became a grocery getter.

Flat opposed engine under the floor of the mini van.
It didn’t have to lift the oil up when started.
That’s why it lasted so long.

Toyota couldn’t have that. They redesigned the Previa and called it a Sienna. Put a regular small V-6 in it.
So it would wear out faster and they could sell more mini vans.
Zah !

Real quick someone put theirs up on blocks like Ferris Bueller did and find out for sure.

Maybe bells go off at 1 Million and you win a new Maverick like a pinball Free Play.

I know vehicles older than my AMC and my Escort did'nt have enough digits. I would loose if I bet. I had a 94 Escort wagon I bought used and it had 5,000 on the odometer. Actually was 105,000 I turned it back over once after I bought it. Had 271,000 before it rotted out. Still ran though.
