As of this morning my base XL with EB and nothing but a bedliner and cheap tonneau cover...

$30,556

This puts me about $14,000 upside right on my Granger Mav. It's $2k more than I've ever been offered.
Do I love the Mav? Sure do. Is it pretty tempting to cash out and buy a mid-2010s truck cash? Sure is.
Don't know that my little 8-mile round trip commute to work is worth continuing to have a car payment, manageable as it is.

Edit: for my math concerned friends on here, it is $13,874 in equity as of today’s payoff number. Still insane.

Yes that is tempting. Im in the similar boat. But I'm loosing my job in a month or two. But I just lowered mine and put some wheels on it. Now I'm really liking my Mav. Good luck with your decision.

Since the market is what it is you might pay too much for the replacement truck.
Tough call and good luck. Its only a truck and on the other hand its only money. :)

Just checked mine for the hell of it. I have 1500 miles XL AWD and 4k tow and it was $31k, up $4k from last time I checked a couple of months ago. Seems stupid high as I paid about $22k from Granger but yours is insane with only FWD. That seems like the best combo to flip, Im surprised a FWD eco would have much demand, Id sell that thing in a heartbeat.

It constantly changes with Carvana. I had an offer of $35K on an XLT EB loaded, decided to wait because my Lariat Hybrid was not built, then two months later they dropped to $32K. I then sold it to a dealer for $35K. Just for grins and giggles, checked my wife's XLT Hybrid, fully loaded, and it is at $32K and has only 2K miles on it. Guess the computer was in a good mood when OP got this offer.

looks like it was involved in accident, brand new price in 2021 was 19,900. If you buy now it is 26,000 plus out the door.
Accident? 😂
I got 3k off of a base model truck at Granger. Also got a Farm Bureau discount. Was locked into initial model year pricing. Thus the lower number to buy. Even Carvana isn’t dumb enough to pay $30k for a wrecked truck…probably 😂

Yeah idk why the algorithm has gone nuts. It is $2k more than it was a month ago with 1,000 more miles on it.

Agreed.
I haven’t been able to shake my quality concerns to be honest. I haven’t suffered the same issues as hybrid owners, but Ford the last couple years has just had such a myriad of problems it’s hard to turn down the idea of getting out at a profit, getting a good used vehicle, and saving the cash every month. This is a paranoia that isn’t based on any facts as my little truck has missed the recalls (so far), but is what it is.

I think Marty the Mav will survive the Temptation of the Carvana.

I unfortunately have a 2010s brain that still thinks $13k means something when buying a car. A $13000 used truck right now is a $5000-$7000 truck any other time in the world.

I have enjoyed the 10+hour trips I’ve taken in the Mav…it’s quiet, gets 30+mpg on the highway all day, and holds all my families bags/toys/crap for a weeklong stay. My late model 2022 EB has been recall and issue free (knock wood). The infotainment system and dash controls are simple and bullshit free. There’s a lot to like.

These gaudy numbers look great until I think about what that money will be worth…a bunch of headaches, 10 year old truck end of major components lifespan maintenance, and a lifetime of trips in my wife’s CRV 🤮 😂
Now to quit being greedy, paint my center-caps black, and patiently wait on these tires to show some wear so I can justify those 245/65/17s to my wife…

Anybody gotten a price for the same truck VIN in two different regions? Seems as though the price varies a lot based upon the area of the country. Maybe worth driving it to another area, and selling it there.

The owner of "Get400More.com" was on the radio saying he thinks prices are going to go up again through the Spring...they generally do. Some places are gambling and paying a little more now hoping they'll make a lot more in a month or 2.

Maybe you sell them your truck for $30k now and buy it back in 3 months for $26k if they're wrong. You make $4k just for loaning someone your truck. If they're right, you keep your $14k. :)
