Help; 1st time attempting OffRoad w/Tremor

Vacation in Michigan; want to go to Silver Lake Off Road Park near Lake Michigan. Mrs. GRABBR unsure (and myself to an extent) of capabilities of going out on the dunes of Silver Lake. Yes I have an air compressor I can plug into the bed power. Yes I will air down tires. Yes SAND mode. What else?

If you are riding on sand you don't necessarily have to put it in sand mode you can keep it in normal mode and manipulate the controls. Turn off your traction control and lock your rear end manually. If you feel like you are digging in and might get stuck don't fight the sand and try to go forward put it in reverse and back out of it. Sand mode is fine however depending on the conditions and the amount of distance you are going you'll be revving very high all the time as the the transmission will stay in the low to second gear all the time unless you nail it. Make sure you purchase some traction pads they're widely available and could save you if you get stuck.

Not a Tremor but might be good reading and a little insight to calm the Mrs. Two different threads, same member. Biggest issue is by law you need a flag so high, it still doesn't stop going up a hill and one starting down. I have a great nephew on a motocross that ended up in ER years ago. Just be safe but have fun and enjoy the time and truck. Please post the experience and photos afterwards.

You should be good out there! Have fun. At Silver Lake Sand Dunes there are areas or paths that are well traveled and have firmed up quite a bit. If you venture off to a less traveled area, then expect the sand to get a lot softer. Sand mode + air the tires down = having a blast!

Have you tested your compressor on the bed inverter?
Only 400 watts, may not run compressor.
