My 2022 Maverick Rick all of a sudden has a an issue with the heater unit. Has anyone had trouble with their heating unit. Went out in the morning a few days ago and I had no heat. It won’t light up. It won’t do anything. We’ve tried changing but fuses nothing and it doesn’t show anything when they scan it that there’s anything wrong. Anybody got an idea of what it could be.

We had it scanned from our local auto mechanic but the scan didn’t even acknowledge the HVAC module unit in my truck. That’s what my husband thinks it may be. I have since called a dealer and have an appointment on the 2nd of December. I guess we will see what they say.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? We'd like to investigate this heating concern on our end. Thanks!

Forscan won't acknowledge the HVAC module until it is turned on. Try hitting the fan button to activate it then do a scan.

The VIN is 3FTTW8E98NRA54056. Dealer where I bought it is Preston Ford in Hurlock Md. I have an appointment with them on December 2. The soonest I could get. Stinks for me because it’s super cold here. I am out of warranty by 2000 or so miles which also stinks. Doesn’t seem fair for a brand new truck.

It will not turn though. It’s like there is and no power going to it.

We did. Was very disappointed that it wasn’t that easy.

Sounds like your LAM needs to buy the annual software license from Ford again.
It’s about $5,000 I think.

Check the cabin air filter. With reduced air flow possibly due to mice nesting on top of filter more or less annual problem as weather cools.
ETA: One year I had a cup or so of corn stored on top of my filter😱
