Dead front USB on base head unit from new, no power, no Android auto/carplay connection

Picked up an XLT Hybrid today, ordered July 2021. Everything works great, Beshore & Koller in Manchester, Pa. was great, no upcharges, price was what was on the order last July, in and out in 10 minutes and an overall great experience.... except I don't seem to have any power to the front USB connections, either the USB A or C under the head unit that would also power Android Auto. Tried a pile of different cables, even an iphone with carplay. Makes me think it should at least charge.

The back seat USB charges both phones with all combinations of cables. Software running latest version and checked for updates. Head unit works in every other possible way.

I remember seeing on here a couple posts about this, that I can't find at the moment. Someone reset something, someone updated, someone had an issue that the outlets were never connected to the head unit from the factory. I am kinda thinking it might be the last reason?...

Thanks in advance if anyone has had this issue and found a resolution before taking back to the dealer.
I'm still waiting on my part and all I get is dealership excuses...

The cable is back ordered until May. But they were in and out pretty quick. Didn't even ask for me to set up an appointment. Just got the part number and ordered it and said they would call when it comes in. My ports weren't illuminated.
Yes mine are illuminated, but that part they so called ordered hasn't came in smh.

I'm waiting to see how the dealership resolves the issue. They promised the part needed would be here last week. At least Spotify works through Bluetooth.​
Same boat heard those promises for a little too long at this point.

I posted in April that I was going to let the dealer get a new cable and install it. Last week I got a call and the part is in. I went there to pick it up and the dealer wanted to charge me $53 for it. If I wanted warranty service, they would install it and it would be free. I made an appointment and got it installed Monday. Three separate 2 hour appointments and 3 months to get it done.
It works great, I have a memory stick with over 100 albums and the infotainment unit has an interface which allows you to search multiple ways including by artist. I rocked to Aretha Franklin this afternoon:).

Mine came in awhile back. No fuss. Diagnostic was about 15 min and same to install. They can bill Ford for the warranty repair with the part, otherwise it's a part sale? I had this with a Toyota dealer once with a washer bottle that started leaking the first month. Like a 10 min repair any idiot could complete, but free for warranty repair and needed to make an appointment.

Sorry it didn't help, but it was worth a try. I was dreading having to go to the dealer if I screwed something up. Hopefully they get you sorted quickly, I look forward to knowing what they tell you the cause was.
Yes, I tried the reset even before reading this thread. It didn't work for me either. No power from USB Ports an cannot connect to CarPlay or Android Auto. There seems to be another issue. I guess I will check the fuses next.
