I don't remember heated wipers ever being an option... I could be wrong though.

Depends on the packages on the 2022 mavericks you have a heated windshield park to keep wipers from freezing

On 2022s and 2023s if you have an XLT Lux you have heated wiper park.

They've removed that for 2024.

Manual says when heated mirrors are turned on, the heated wiper park also turns on. Not been cold here to turn any of those on, so no idea what the wiper thing does

They are only on 22-23 XLT lux and 22-23 Lariat lux.

The 2022 XLT has heated wipers/mirrors with lux package.

If you look at the windshield where the wipers sit when they’re turned off, you’ll see a small heating grid similar to the defroster grids in the rear window of most vehicles. It’s supposed to heat up and melt the ice that are on the wipers when the wipers are sitting there.

In my experience, it’s not enough to do the job. My Maverick and my Forester both have them, but it doesn’t seem to be very effective with either vehicle.

I could be wrong but I think the plastic area the wiper blades rest on is what's heated. Not the wiper blades themselves.

Heated wipers? Gimme a break! Heated wipers means ANOTHER SENSOR. If I learned anything with my 2004 Ford "Retrobird," with its 1,402 sensors, THE LESS SENSORS YOU HAVE, THE BETTER VEHICLE YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE. Ipso fatso (Archie Bunker).

No lies detected- Had my Lux/22 Eco arrive with a DOA heated wiper park unit- Got a couple fuse boxes replaced under warranty two years ago and for fun just went out and tested it and sure enough- Not working again- Goes back to the dealer Tuesday
