Are these headlights sealed? I’m not happy with the light output, is there anyway to upgrade the headlights?

What are you talking about?
I have had my truck for a week now and I've been flashed 3 times.
They are super bright, putting out a wide beam without that look of 2 headlights. And the brights are very bright.
Also, it was explained to me by the dealer that the headlight assembly (you can not just replace the bulb) is not covered in the "bumper to Bumper" warranty and that they are about $600 each - if you could find them.
What are you talking about?

I get flashed off and on with these headlights. Maybe you need to get your night vision checked or something. I am 75 years old and can see great at night with these lights.

The headlights are sealed. It's possible to open them, and there's some room in the housing possibly to add some lighting (speaking only for the XLT, have not seen the Lariat).

I remember seeing a post here where a member added some lighting on the upper part of their XLT headlights.

They most certainly are covered in the bumper to bumper 36k mile warranty if they fail.

They are not covered if they suffer damage from driving and are non-functional as a result.

I will give that a shot. When the brights are on, lighting is great. But otherwise I find the normal lighting rather dull. Looking at the headlights from the front, they look nice and white and bright. But it doesn’t seem to translate to the blacktop.

You just need to adjust the headlights up SLIGHTLY, they are factory setup so that if you regularly have a load in the box they are not aimed too high. If you normally drive empty like I do, then you can do this, I did it was very easy once I figured it out.

Thanks for the tip. I also have the BAP, not sure if that reduces lights output as well.

I’m talking about wanting brighter headlights, I thought that was clear in my original post.
Yes, we understand. You made that perfectly clear in your OP. What some of us are asking is why?
