Hello all,
I am curious how your Mabett seat covers are holding up, especially those of you who have had them installed for a while. I am looking at buying a set (grey/white), but I would love to hear from anyone with these covers. They look stunning new, but would love to see if the fit/finish...
Nice! I've been doing a BAP on my XLT over the last year. I've been debating painting the grille bar since the standard XLT rims match the standard XLT color.
I am excited about the upcoming Maverick and the technology/options that are being added. An AWD Maverick Hybrid would have been nice but not necessary for me. I love the look of the 22-24s and am a big fan of Area 51. I wouldn't swap to the 25+ and drop those two for AWD.
Personally, I'm not...
It looks awesome! I debated the low and slow method, but my oven is consistently less warm when I cook. I figured that would probably translate to baking my headlights. If I had a better oven, I would probably do 250-270.
Unfortunately, what I took for photos are all on this thread. Since I was just adding the black appearance package, I did not pay attention to any electronics and focused more on the task at hand. Sorry I couldn't be more help!
I wouldn't have a problem with this except for this one piece. It looks like they threw it on at the last minute. If it was one solid piece with the front bumper, I could get behind it. It just looks very out-of-place.
Curious to see one in person!
Edit: Also I was so distracted by this one...
Sorry for the late reply!
Yes, you should just unscrew the third brake light, remove the bulbs (like on the brake lights) and completely submerge in ZEP.
The electrical components aren't housed in the unit. It's just like the brake lights where the bulbs stick in and all the electrical...
Looks nice! That tint really works with the BAP package.
I'm debating on putting the front window strip when I tint my Maverick. Definitely makes the truck loads cooler in the summer, but I can't get over the unibrow look. Doing the whole windshield looks awesome though!
