Lately the treble sound from the front speakers has been harsh or distorted at any volume. Move the fader to the rear and it sounds normal. I don't know if it is the tweeters or the center speaker causing the problem. I tried lowering the treble or the midrange but the sound is still bad .It is like a bad resonance to sounds around 5 to 8k hz. I love music and used to enjoy the sound of this radio. It seems much worse on Sirius radio, less on FM stations or bluetooth from my phone. It is still there on any source. I don't know if it is the speakers or the amplifier which I am told does not power the rear side speakers. My truck is a 23 lariat so it has the small plastic amplifier.

For my bluetooth music I use PowerAMP EQ app, leave the settings on sync flat and use the EQ to adjust the sound to my liking. As far as SiriusXM and FM... I just roll with it. I haven't used the FM side of any radio for the past 21 years.

indeed. if you have the bass set to level or minus a bit, the factory B&O should definitely play to 30.

it has clipping detection. I couldn't guess whether the OP's problem is a bad speaker, bad amp or bad sync3 ACM, but it's definitely got something that will fall under warranty repairs.
