Well I have a small thing with the front seats. I have the power seats and they are nice but I can not find my comfy position at all. If I go up the seats tilt forward and I have not been able to tilt the front of the seat all. Am I missing something? Anyone else find this at all or am I totally out to lunch on this? I want to sit higher but not tilted forward. Anyone?

The front of the seat doesn't raise or lower. I agree it's a bit of a complaint of mine. Only the rear pivots rather and just raising and lowering the whole seat.

yes it is a little strange for a power seat. Just feels weird when you tilt forward and go up in height.

what fries my bacon is a lack of seat position memory buttons. if you're the only person that drives your Mav no big deal...but wifeys daily driver is a Navigator that shes lucky to get 16mpg in so now shes driving the Mav more and more and i'm constantly trying to find best best seat position once again. sigh...2023 Lariet hybrid with the Lux pkg by the way.

How common are memory seat buttons? My wife has memory settings in her 2020 Rav4. I do like being able to get in the Rav4, push my seat position button, and then start driving; however, I actually like the manual seats in my Mav XLT. They are very comfortable for my 6’3” frame. All in all, this is a good topic.

my gripe isnt with the seat position seating system per se, i can live with their engineering choices there . but if you and someone else drive the Mav on a regular basis resetting seat position is just one of those things for me i guess. if i am willing to pay extra for the 'LUX pkg there are certain amenities i for one expect. i'm coming from a 2014 escape that had multiple seat positions and i'm just now realizing how handy that feature was to me :) she didnt really like the escape but the Mav is winning her over more very day!

Selectable seat positions is a great thing. This feature should be standard on the Lariat and available on the XLT. Thanks for your comments.

Hmmm, the driver's seat is probably my only notable complaint about the Maverick. I thought making the electric driver's seat available at all trim levels would remedy this...maybe not.

Anyone who owned a basic Ford Escape from 2020 to 2023 with manually adjustable seats.. For the height adjustment, is it the same as the Maverick (tilt forward to up or down) or did it actually raise the seat up or down? I know with the power seats they fully raise, not tilt, to control vertical height.

I ask becuase in my younger years of owning VW Jettas, I once pulled the seat mechanism out of Jetta GLIs w/ Sunroofs to modify my seats in my VW Jetta GL so that I could fully adjust the height of the seat. I kept my seats, just swapped out the bottom part of the frame. I wonder if this is an option as the Escape and Maverick use the same floor from the front passenger seats to the cowling. The trim appears the same, so you should be able to still use the blue plasitic from the Maverick so that your interior still matches.

2025 Lariat here . . . coming from a 2020 camry XLE .. i feel like the camry i slipped "in to" the seat and the mav i sit "on to" the seat if that makes any sense. Oddly enough its if the back is too cushony and the seat sits a tad high, i'm 5'10 so average height and i just cant get that fit to "click" (again, if that makes sense). I realize coming from a car the seating is different.

The seat-to-peddle feel is off, although i only had a month i'm sure it'll be better. Honestly if i could get that seat down just a little more i'd be happy haha. Thanks for reading my seat rants.

I've two fob keys on my 2023 BS BL Premium Package with the seat memory position, it works great for two drivers! Everyone gets one and the seat position is set. I missed that feature on my 2024 FML Tremor

The seat is the biggest complaint about my 23 Lariat. I ended up buying a tapered seat cushion (think office chair). I use it for long trips.

I bought these relatively inexpensive front seat cover for my Lobo because I found the “recycled plastic graffiti inspired” seats too hot.

I’m six one & my seat is all the way lowered. The seat covers noticeably raised me up but still have plenty of headroom even wearing my fedora.

They were also easier to install than many other seat covers fyi.
