My biggest/not only concern, with doing the āremote Dealerā purchase, no deposit, then Courtesy Delivery. Shipped to my CD dealer 600+ miles away from selling dealer and the CD Ford Dealer has very little coin ($200) in the game but if the vehicle has (even a minor) damage, and scheduling $1,000 deposit made prior to manufacturing, and my truck was supposed to have a āsunroomā (or Oh No! You forgot my bed liner) but it was lost in paperwork or forgotten by the selling dealerā¦.then where do i go for restitutionā¦.Iowa, or to the CD Dealerā¦.this is just one of the unseen risks buying remotely. Such I can not imagine a scenario between the CD DEALER and the SELLING DEALER, with the customer (me) caught in the middleā¦and a Maverick in limbo With my deposit in limbo.I agree with your girlfriend.
My experience with Ford Dealers so far has been mystifying. Visited 2 different very large Ford Dealers that had no interest in talking about or taking an order for a Maverickā¦..even just ordering for future delivery, no interest, thatās when I reached out to the 4% dealer who was willing to quickly receptive to taking an orderā¦..mystifying.
