Will a the hard roll up tonneau cover work with a Yakima or Thule rack on a Maverick? I did a search and found the soft cover tonneau cover & Elevated rack works. Just wondering if the hard roll up tonneau cover work like the soft roll up.

If you do have a hard roll up tonneau cover with a Yakima or Thule rack, did you have to purchase any additional parts to make this work?

Yes, I'm still waiting for my Hybrid so I can't really picture how it would be installed.

I believe there are a few covers that have the rail slots built in but most don't. You would need a slot system, like the Tuxedo TS Rails that have t slots. These install with the cover. Then the rack into the slot. Truxedo website has compatibility listings and length that works with Maverick. Probably work with more covers than they show but you know those will work. A few of the ones listed are hard roll covers.

I've got a 2022 hybrid Lariat, with a BakFlipxS hard cover rollup tonneau. There are no t-slot rails. I want to add a bed rack for my kayak (s) - tired of them sticking out the tailgate. TruXedo's Elevate system looks good. I need to get two t-slot rails. Will I need to uninstall the rollup, attach the t-slot rails, then re-install the rollup rails over the new t-slots? Won't the clamps for one interfere with placement for the other?
