True and I would change it & I would change from spray in bed liner to a drop on one, but I can’t as it’s part of the lux package.
I know you cannot change the bed liner because you are right, it is part of the Lux package. I could very well be wrong, but I do not think the tonneau cover is part of the Lux package and it can be dropped if you want. There have been some changes on the ford "build a maverick" site. However, it presently shows, and think it did in the past also, that the tonneau cover is not part of the lux package.

You may wish to ask your dealer. Anyone else on this thread that knows for sure?? I know FordVideoGuy would know......

JUMP and we all move up one place in the line.

In all honesty, I truly feel your stress and I’m not sure where to put the blame. It’s a collision of several factors that has placed us all in a feverish quest for a, soon to be, ubiquitous vehicle that, in less then 3 years, will be every pool company’s and lawn service’s vehicle. Maybe a little reality check is sobering.
I feel the same way when I see someone ask that, lol. Uh, yeah, step aside.... LOL

you can drop the tonneau cover, I did. way back when.... also drop floor mats and mud guards when they were the only constraints

Hold tight, it's coming.
I ordered my Hybrid Lariat Lux on 8/21, it starts production next week.
You've waited this long, why ditch at the last minute?

My dealer claims to have dropped the SIBL from My Lariat lux order from the beginning, so apparently it can be done. I don't have the truck yet to verify, but he claimed they have done it before, so we'll see how my truck is done once (if ever!) it arrives.

I finally got time to go see my salesman and he said I can't remove it as it is part of my package. He tried earlier in the day for another person and it gives and error. He did try and got an error. No progress on the order.

You had me in stitches, with all these steps. Definitely, Step #3 sounds amazing. Already told wife stop talking or I will take your car. And yes, already, purchased a used car from dealership to hold me over until the truck arrives and then I will trade in. Once the day comes, I will for sure do Step #6 & 7. 👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks for the support MTC crew and advice….

My wife no longer asks about my “new truck”, which is fine by me. I went to Ford Chat today at lunch…. Shakura gave me a VIN, I was so excited… then she added.. wait THAT’S NOT YOUR VIN!!!! I was very calm and angry…. Just another shovel full of dirt on my coffin. Hoping my September 18 order will in fact be a September 18 order.

Looking at my options. Committed to the Ford Maverick Lariat on 9/4. A 3-4 month promise has become a long road, 8 months and counting. Now I need to check my options. I have to have a vehicle by June when my kids are out of school. Been discussing a short term lease if things are still in limbo, with dealership. Now wondering if I hang in there or jump ship?. My other vehicle has been gone since Jan. and relying on one vehicle in the family is not fun. I have a ton of accessories already, and was wondering if I sell them or hold tight?
Maverick owners what’s the verdict…
