so you dont have to keep them charged until you use them. I have had regular jump boxes go completely dead with ever using them
A super capacitor jump starter requires virtually no maintenance, as it is considered "maintenance-free" due to its design. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Like any other rechargeable battery, you do have to maintain them. I've had many years of great service from SLA and Li-Ion types, properly maintained.

How do you maintain a Li-Ion jump box?
You charge them when they need to be charged, and don't let them get down below ~30% capacity. Checking the charge level every 2 months or so when not in use should be sufficient.
