I believe this is the carbon grey one for the XLT's. I saved it as a potential part I will buy to replace my Lariats light silver colored one.

This one says "with Tremor package" PZ6Z8200MAPTM
Wanna trade? I was thinking about trading my XLT's for a Lariat's.

I’ve been wanting to change my Lariat “silver” center bar to matte black to match the rest of the grille. If you go to the trouble of removing the OEM bar, any thoughts on using Plastidip on the OEM bar & re-install? It looks to be a good match.
I had very good results covering a couple of chrome parts as well as fender stripes on my 14 Mustang. Lasted a long time with no scratches or fading.
It will be a lot easier to just do the oem bar than getting another. Removing the ford emblem and swapping over the two inserts into a new bar was a lot more effort than it should be. as long as you can tape off the emblem well, you should be able to easily paint the grill bar as is.

I'm currently planning to use it as a way to learn how to wrap. while color matching is better looking. i really wanted to try doing a chrome

Ok thanks…
So the aftermarket one you bought needed some additional work to make it fit…

Never got around to it. My Lariat Hybrid was a rattler & sleeper. It’s been replaced by a XLT FX4. I did use Plastidip on Ford tailgate emblem & AWD letters.
