How can sales people ever hope to achieve the same level of knowledge as someone on the internet like you knowing the owner’s manual inside and out 😆.
Meh, ctrl+F is my friend.. I haven't read it all yet, just know what to search for :ROFLMAO:

Check out this double tent cot. Set it on your 2x6 cross members sideways. Sleeps two from Yescom and available at Walmart.com for about $300.

May see if my Pick up bed tent will work. It works on my F150 5.5 ft bed. Maybe a plywood sheet that slides out to extend the floor to 6.5 feet will work. It will need a platform above the wheel wells as the floor is 39 inches? The mattress pad for two needs 50 inches .

I can tell you that the caribou lite with a dry weight of 950lbs is not going to work with a maverick. I'm not sure there are any slide in truck camper options. I have a patent pending truck camper shell system that I'm going to be making specifically for the maverick. Not sure if i can post links here but just go to truckcamperhybrid dot com

I'm sure someone will build a home made camper shell, Lol.

This is close but my design is to keep it short so tailgate stays on and will close, The width will come from having the side drop don so the width becomes 6..5 feet. No advantage to the cab over as its not wide enough and too low. Maybe good for storage.

Thanks for this post! I have one of these also for my f150 5.5’ and was very curious if I could make it work. Now I just need the Maverick to show up

We have a Livin' Lite Quicksilver that we tow with a 2020 Outback Onyx XT (3,500lb rated). I'll be towing it with my XLT hybrid if it ever gets built.

These campers are all aluminum, so super lightweight. Fully loaded I don't expect to exceed 1500 lbs.

I feel like the only people considering truck bed campers for the Maverick have never actually seen a Maverick in person. It’s seriously just too small to be useful, IMHO. You give up soooo much because of the space constraints that you really might as well just be in a tent.

What I’m saying is if you really really feel like a truck bed camper is the best option for you, well, you need more truck. I can sorta see it working on Ranger, just not a Maverick.

As for that Livin Lite, it makes me so depressed they sold out and then got closed down. They had a great sweet spot of all aluminum campers from those pop-ups to full toyhaulers and everything was just so well made. *sigh* But that pop-up above or a teardrop are the only campers that make much sense with a Maverick, IMHO.

I've been looking at this for my Hybrid. I saw a guy install one on YT. He had it on a F150 and looked great. Affordable too

I have been looking for a pop-up camper that could work with the Maverick hybrid and think this one may work depending on if it will sit on top of flat tailgate. It even has an option for a toilet.

I think that will be heavy for the Maverick. There is limited after market to beef up the suspension. I looked at the Scout Yoho as an option at 990 pounds but decided to stay with the F150. I and am picking up the Scout Olympic for the F150. Best bet is I will Transfer my iKamper Mini roof top tent and use bed for kitchen set up and storage. Check out trail kitchens.com and their chuck box. You don’t get much storage with the truck campers.

We save money on expensive campers to spend on alcohol, and are glad its on the ground for the same reason.

If you can fold it up and only using it at a camp ground and it fits, go for it. It's not a slide in really it's a pop-up.
